About Filmstudion

Nestled in the booming district of Lindholmen, Karlastaden and Norra Älvstranden of Gothenburg - Filmstudion is a converted industrial warehouse where cultural creation has been taking place since 2009. 

Primarily used as a film- and TV-studio Filmstudion is now set to become Gothenburg's newest host for concerts, cultural- and versatile public events. With a capacity of up 2000 people, two stages, convertible studio facilities Filmstudion can accommodate a spectrum of activities – from sweaty club concerts, bigger international concerts, exhibitions, branded corporate events, film productions to theatrical and dance performances. Through the early years Filmstudion has been the place for mesmerizing performances of acclaimed artists such as Fever Ray, Kite, Nils Frahm, Robyn, Thåström among many others.
